Matthew Gould Lucht is a creative director with global experience building brands, launching products, and guiding teams of cross-discipline creatives.
Matthew started his career in Philadelphia at a traditional agency where he built “fringe things” for anything but fringe clients. He traded Philly for New York to become a smaller fish in a bigger pond. He got scrappy at a few indie shops before joining Barbarian to lead a diverse team of writers, art directors, and designers from a $300k desk. Eventually he ditched the agency world for a brand-side role at the iconic Converse which is where we currently find our protagonist.
He's formally trained in communication design with a skill set that's deeply digital. He brings together strategic thinking, creative direction, and a unique vision to the projects he takes on. He believes in the power of good relationships — brand to consumer, agency to client, creative to business objective.
